Comprehensive AI touches upon ethical and legal aspects, analyzes the impact of AI on work environments and examines how AI changes recruiting. Furthermore, FAU researchers investigate crime prevention or law enforcement with AI, and AI-based text analysis. In Comprehensive AI, the “Digital Humanities” are one crucial topic which is pushed by an interdisciplinary task force composed of computer science and humanities scholars. Moreover, thanks to numerous collaborations, the FAU is part of the European large-scale project “Time Machine”, a joint endeavor with focus on the cultural heritage of Europe.
